Guess where the Tuatara authors have been...

Whaea Pip was delighted with our smashing recount writing this week. Can you guess where we visited when you read our wonderful descriptions?


I felt crumbling bark underneath me, I also felt the wind above me - Rekai

I'm cold although it was a very hot day - Evan

It was full of green trees and the path was bumpy - Elisa

We also got to look in the Weta motels, I saw two weta in the biggest motel - Dominic

Sticks crumbled under our feet - Makayla

I saw some sparkly wrinkles on the wet ground - Josh

I heard tweeting birds - Daniel

It was so cold I felt like ice - Abigail

We used the five senses to practice. It was smashing - Andrew

I saw gorgeous and beautiful birds - McKenna

I felt the gentle breeze blowing - Aimee

The ground was slushy - Jasper

I heard scrunching of sticks - Taylor

I couldn't wait to finish my fantastic writing - Kristina

It was cold and icy - Connor

The bush was creepy - Telson

I saw lots of native trees - Jacob

The bush was cold but I was steaming hot. I don't know if anybody else was! - Leto

The sounds in the bush were creepy and noisy - Sammie
