Our wonderful zoo visit

Thank you SO much to the wonderful parent helpers on our zoo trip today, we couldn't have done it without you!

After arriving at the zoo, we had our morning tea then headed into the education room. Tom talked to us about life cycles and explained how reptiles usually lay eggs and most mammals have a baby. We got to pat a huge rat, a hedgehog and Lizzie the lizard.
Then our adventures began! Ms Coombes tried her best to make it round all the groups to get a photo but didn't quite make it.  There are a few photos below of us having a blast learning about life cycles, habitats and eating habits of amazing wild animals...
Phew! What a wonderful day with great weather and the wonderful Plateau students making great choices.  I am sure everyone will sleep well tonight! :)
